We help people take control of their money
Since 2015, we've been running live webinars on budgeting and financial planning. Our focus is simple: practical advice you can use right away, delivered by people who actually work with budgets every day.
Started with a question
Back in 2015, a few of us were sitting around talking about why so many people struggle with money. Not because they earn too little—though that's real—but because there's almost no accessible education on actually managing what you have.
We started small. Monthly webinars on basic budgeting. Twenty people showed up to the first one. They asked questions we hadn't thought about. We learned as much as they did.
What surprised us was how many people kept coming back. They'd implement something from one session, see it work, then want to learn the next step. That's when we realized we were onto something.
Now we run sessions every week. Different topics, different instructors, but the same core idea: give people tools they can actually use, then help them use those tools effectively.
What matters to us
Practical over theoretical
We don't teach abstract financial theory. Every session focuses on things you'll use this month: tracking expenses, building an emergency fund, comparing loan options.
Real scenarios
Our examples come from actual situations people face. Irregular income. Debt repayment. Saving for specific goals. We work through the messy parts, not just the textbook cases.
Ask anything
Every webinar includes live Q&A. If something doesn't make sense for your situation, you can ask. Most of our best content came from participant questions.
How we run sessions
Our webinars are structured but flexible. We cover specific topics in depth, but we adjust based on what participants actually need to know.
Live interaction
Sessions aren't recorded lectures. We present concepts, then work through them together. You can ask questions as they come up, test ideas, and see how others approach the same problems.
Most sessions run 60-90 minutes. Enough time to dig into a topic without losing focus.
Specific topics
We focus each session on one area. Creating a functional budget. Understanding debt repayment strategies. Planning for irregular expenses. Building a long-term savings approach.
You can join sessions that match where you are. No need to start at the beginning if you already have the basics down.
Follow-up resources
After each session, you get templates and worksheets for the topics we covered. Spreadsheets for tracking. Frameworks for decision-making. Lists of things to check.
These aren't fancy—they're the same tools our instructors use themselves.
Regional focus
We schedule sessions to work for people in South Africa. Early evenings, weekend mornings. Times that fit around work schedules without requiring you to stay up late.
And we understand local context—the financial products available here, typical salary structures, common financial challenges in the region.
